The larger the aperture of the telescope, the better the observation effect, but the more expensive it is, the larger the volume and the heavier weight, and the smaller the aperture, the observation effect is almost the same, but it is small in size and light in weight and easy to carry. Generally, you can choose a double barrel with a diameter of 20-50 mm. If you use a tripod, you can choose a diameter of 50-100 mm.

Choose Paul prism telescope or roof prism telescope?
Paul prism telescope has the advantages of low price and good effect, but its volume and weight is about 40% larger than that of roof prism telescope of the same specification. The nearest observation distance is far, and it is not suitable for bird watching and other occasions that require close observation.
The advantages of roof prism telescopes are small size and weight, good portability, short observation distance, suitable for bird watching, but high technical requirements, cheap models cannot get excellent picture quality
Generally speaking, when the budget is less than 300 yuan, unless the volume and close-range observation are particularly emphasized, the Paul telescope is preferred. Choose binocular or monocular?
